NightVision Testimonies

I just wanted to thank you again for your obedience to God and stepping out with Night Vision. This was the second year that we drove our youth up from Cedar City Utah. This year was amazing.  We had 21 kids from our youth group and 8 adult chaperones. During the storm on Saturday we ran for cover into the prayer tent over by the artist's tables, while we were in there we all started praying. When the prayer team came back one of the women said we would have a testimony time. Some of us shared our testimonies. One of the men began to minister to our youth and then asked if anyone wanted to receive Christ. No one raised their hand.

Then he shared how he was raised in the church but never had a relationship with Jesus. He said everyone thought that just because he was in church people thought he was saved. He told them that God spoke to him when he was a teenager and told him that he needed to make this decision on his own and that he needed a personal relationship with Jesus. Then this man asked if anyone wanted to recommit their lives to Christ. Nathan one of the boys in our youth began to cry and then stood up and said I do. Then one after another the kids started to cry and stand. 8 of our kids committed their lives to Christ in a way that moved us all to tears of joy.  I have seen many of these kids pray the prayer of salvation but this was the first time I saw them broken before the Lord. I mean these kids wept and cried out to Jesus. After that half of our group went back to the church that we were staying at. The rest of us stayed and got prayer.

Hi,
I am the pastor of a church in Grand Junction, and I always have the best of intentions when it comes to writing brief letters or emails after "the event".  This time, I would not let myself procrastinate until I got too busy to actually do it.  I want to thank you for a wonderful time of worship this weekend.  It was truly a God honoring meeting and it challenged, strengthened and helped recharge me.  Our church helped provided the interpreters that worked with "Hands in Motion" and what we brought back to the congregation this morning, even though we were exhausted and in desperate need of more sleep, was nothing short of incredible.  God moved in such a mighty way and I believe it is because all of us who were at the festival allowed His Spirit to do a work in our lives.  The excitement was contagious and we had "church" this morning and I am not sure we have ever had it the way we did today.  God broke some hearts, healed some hurts, and brought an excitement to a church that wants to walk faithfully with Him.  Thank you for being a part of what God is doing in the hearts of His people here in Grand Junction.

My family only could attend the Saturday night session of this year's NightVision.  Despite Satan's attempts to make a good thing go bad, we were still able to enjoy God's presence and we ministered to from about 7:30 'til after the fireworks!!  Thanks so much for all you do to organize and obtain the sponsors for the NightVision Festival--we've been able to attend the past 2 years, and it's absolutely fabulous!!  The fireworks were the BEST!!!

As far as bands for 2009---our family would love to see Steven Curtis Chapman, Kutless, Newsboys (yes, my son loves them and wants them back even after last year!!), Casting Crowns.....so many groups that we'd love to see!  Can't wait for 2k9!!

Thanks again for all you do...be sure to thank Miss Victoria for all her hard work and dedication, too!!

Hi! - We’re a family of five and experienced our first NightVision event this year.  We’re from Durango, CO and we’re sad that we haven’t heard of the event until this year.  We would have loved to have seen the Newsboys and Barlow Girl.  I would like to say thanks to all those who made it possible since we had a wonderful experience.  My 11 year old son wanted me to request Switchfoot or Relient K and my 10 year old twin girls would love to see Jump 5 or Natalie Grant if these are possible.  Well, thanks again and we look forward to attending in the coming years!  God Bless and we’ll be praying for you.

Dear Staff
My wife and I and my family, happily drove 800 plus miles to see NightVision 2K7. The concert and talk and all left us wanting more... it was super fun and life changing for us all, as we are in another religion in transistion to Christianity.  I was very impressed with how well it turned out.  We are telling more people about it and we anxiously await updates on the website.  We will be there next year and then next and so on ...Bye
